Hi guys ! Welcome back. This week was terribly full of work, and finally I had one week end day to post this review. Today, lets talk about the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I discovered these on instagram, and I was like “Girl these colors drives me craaaazy”, and the minute later I had 4 of them in my basket. They are 20$ one but, the really cool thing about Gerard Cosmetics is that they have super fucking cool deals. At the moment, you can get 3 lip products for 35$ with the code Hydra35, 4 lip products for 45$ with the code Hydra45 and you can also have 3 different lip products (gloss, regular lipstick and liquid lipstick) for 20$. Seriously, isn’t that sick ? Anyway.

First of all, the packaging looks really minimalist and nice, and doesn’t look cheap. The standard tiny moussy applicator makes the product easy to apply. But, because there is a BUT, at first, I was fucking chocked about the lipstick size. Like on camera you can’t really see it but it’s like soooo small. Almost the size of a Nyx Soft Matte lip cream. Ok it’s not a really confusing thing I know, but I expected a taller tube. Annnyyywayyy (neurosis bitch).

Left to right : 1995, Cher, Iced Mocha, Plum Crazy

I got these 4 gorgeous shades : 1995 (my birth year ahah), a beautiful reddish nude brown, Cher, a mauvy cool tone, Iced mocha, a cool tone mauvy brown and Plum crazy, a deep red-brown. By the way, these liquid lipsticks have a strong strawberry sugar scent that fades away at the application.
But guys, even if the color range is insanely beautiful, the coolest thing is the formula. OMG WHERE DO I START ? This is a creamy-liquidy texture that goes on lips like a fucking dream. It takes a little time to dry, like 2 or 3 minutes, but when it’s dry, it’s like dry for ever.  It’s so beautiful I wanna cry. This formula feels really velvety on the lips, and seems to be more “hydrating” than other liquid lipsticks. And oh god, this stays FOR EVER ON THE LIPS. For the first test I wore it on an entire day, eating, kissing, talking and it stays for 10 hour, no crumbling, no tackyness, no fading (even in the inner part of the lips, yes, seriously). I was so chocked because I think that this formula as almost dethroned my LimeCrime on lasting power.

(Excuse these messy swatches and this horrible skin)

As you probably noticed, I’m literally in love with these liquid lipsticks, and I just can totally recommend them. Even if they are a little bit pricy, with the special offers, you can definitely find the shades that you want for a super duper price !

Hello everyone ! Hope your week is going well. Fall is here, I’m so happy to be a little bit more fresh now. Ok, for this post, I know I’m like really fucking late, BUT, in my defense, I had to say that I didn’t think that one day I had to do this review. In fact, I’m not a huge fan of full coverage foundation, but now that I’m watching this foundation for months, watching 10 reviews a week on it,  I finally decided to test it instead of being a brave shit. The other reason is that I’m insanely into concealers, and when the concealer show it nose I was like “hey girl come here”. So, firstly, here’s what Too Faced says about the Born This Way Foundation/Concealer.

“Born This Way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way.”

“Instantly hide imperfections, vanish the appearance of dark circles, and blur the look of lines and wrinkles for complete coverage so undetectable, they’ll think you were Born This Way.

After using Born This Way Concealer:
100% said it showed IMPROVEMENT IN SKIN MOISTURE LEVELS after 1 hour
97% said it provides a NATURAL, UNDETECTABLE FINISH
97% said it provides a SMOOTH, CREASELESS FINISH
97% said it provides a FLAWLESS “NO MAKEUP LOOK”
*Research results”

The packaging of this duo is like OMG so adorable and lovely, as usual with Too Faced they are ON POINT.  Their logo is so beautiful and sits so well on all the packagings. By the way, the quality of this packaging is really nice and heavy, at least for the foundation, because the concealer is more a plastic packaging than the glassy packaging of the foundation. Anyway.
The foundation comes with a pomp, like, how can it be possible to not put a pomp on a foundation seriously ? It’s so easy to apply, in an economic way. And the concealer comes with a tiny wand applicator, really easy and nice to use. NO PROBLEMO !

Got the shade Vanilla for foundation and Fair for concealer.

The foundation color range is really nice, they are 18 different shades on the Too Faced website, but in my country, we don’t have so much. That’s why I have to say that I probably go for Ivory, but they weren’t any transitional shades between Porcelain and Vanilla … Anyway (fuck you) the Vanilla shade seems to be ok on me ! The concealer color range contains 10 different shades, and I was between Fair and Light so I decided to go with Fair, because I like to be a little bit more highlighted on the under-eye.

Fair concealer on the left, Vanilla foundation on the right.

The foundation texture is a little bit thick, and at the beginning I was like “Omg I will be caky as hell yay”, but it blends really nice on the skin and gives a really nice mat finish. The foundation is oil-free, really nice point for oily skin like mine, but maybe it can be a little bit drying on other skin types. Otherwise, I have to say that the foundation do oxidized a little so be careful.
The concealer texture is really nice and liquidy, but still full coverage, and this blends like a dream, it’s incredible ! The coconut oil on the formula really helps the under eye to be moisturized throughout the day, it doesn’t crease on the fine lines and stay for ever. In fact, the two products have a strong lasting power, I used them on a wedding day, and damn, they were always here the next day.

Half-Half, With (left) and Without (right). And shitty face.

As you can see, both products looks really nice together and on the skin. They doesn’t look caky or patchy, and the skin still looks like skin (is that make sense ?). They cover really well my imperfections, redness and dark circles. I really like this foundation for evening/special long events, especially for fall/winter season. So happy with my really first and nice full coverage foundation.

Only negative point, is a usual a price point, because these two products are a little bit pricy. The foundation retails for 39$ and the concealer for 28$, but the quality is here, and I did not regret my purchase for nothing !

What are your favorite full coverage foundation/concealer ? 😊

Hello everyone ! I’m so happy today, because it’s a daaaamn glowing day and I wanted to thank you so much because I reached 100 followers on my blog yayyy, you’re all so amazing 💕. The week went so fast and I was crying this morning when I opened my mail box and seen this beauty. I just received my brand new Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter in Moonstone, which is finally available in my country (fuck that was so long to wait).

What Becca says about the Shimmering Skin Perfector :
“A creamy powder luminizer that absorbs and reflects light for a superb natural glow.”

And OMFG this highlighter is soooo beautiful. The packaging is really nice and heavy, there’s a beautiful nice mirror inside and that amazing shimmery powder. The formula is really smooth and powdery, and there are not too much sparkles on it, which make that highlight so natural on the skin.
This is so easy to use, and you can never go wrong with it. The Moonstone shade is perfect for fair/light skins like mine (on the photo below I look like beautifully tan but it’s not. It’s just the bad light on my apartment), and goes with any makeup look. By the way, when you have this shitty oily skin (like mine again), it gives you that beautiful natural glow without looking like you fell in a fucking fryer.

The only negative point about this highlighter is that it’s an investment, because it cost 38$, but the quality is insane and you really need to only put a tiny amount of product to have this awesome shine, and then you are like Hiiiii you make me glow for ever please.

Are you in love with Becca’s highlighter ?

Hi guys ! I’m so happy to post today after one week, because Uni starts again and I’m already deeply into work (crying inside). That’s why I will only post once a week, but don’t worry, I don’t forget you lovelies. Today I wanted to make a kind of different post. You know I’m soooooo (like REALLY) into liquid lipsticks, and sometimes, I really like to put them on test, and even confront them, just for informations and comparisons, I don’t want to take advantage of a brand over another, and for me, those kind of reviews are really interesting.

Today I’m gonna compare two of my favorite liquid lipstick EVER : The Limecrime Velvetines and the Sephora Cream Lip Stain. These two formula are Bomb, even if the Limecrime are a little bit more expensive than the Sephora (18$ vs 14$). For both brands, the colors are gorgeous, and I’m definitely dying for them. Here, the two colors are not really similar. Jinx is a dark purple shade and Dark berry is a deep cranberry red with a little bit of metallic effect. Seriously, aren’t they GORGEOUS ?

I started to apply them at 10am, so you got Limecrime on the right side and Sephora on the left side. These two formulas are very similar, they’re liquidy, they dry completely matte and hell yes they are kissproof. Those words feels like heaven for me, and with this, I’m a filled woman. As you can see, they’re super pigmented and goes on really well on the lips.

Here is what both sides looks like after 3 hours and a great meal and few drinks. As you can see, they still looks really good, you can see there is a little bit missing on the inner part on my lips, but I think it’s a current issue with liquid lipsticks.

And this is what it looks like after 8 hours. After drinking, eating, talking, kissing and all the damn things in a day. Both sides are not so bad. There’s obviously product missing on the inner part and the lip contour is starting to be a little less defined, but seriously, they are still fucking there, and in a great way ! Of course I didn’t reapplied nothing on top. They really look similar, and I can’t say if there is any difference between them.
If you are insanely in long lasting liquid lipsticks like me, you will LOOOOVE these so much. Just have to say that at the end of the day, it feels a little bit dry on the lips, it doesn’t affect me, but if it affects you, just keep it in mind.

Hope you enjoyed this kind of post, if you want me to do more half-half review on other lipsticks/products, leave a comment bellow. Don’t forget to like and subscribe if you like this post and I’ll see you in another very soon ✨

Hi everyone !  Today I wanted to write an article about some liquid lipstick I received few days ago from the new brand Cryptic Cosmetics, created by the darkest beauty queen Christina Parga alias Depeche Gurl (instagram @depechegurl go check her work). She launched this Gore couture collection wich features 5 shades : Essex, Creepshow, Gore Couture, Tortured Soul and Batwalk. They’re 17$ each, and let me tell you that these fucking liquid lisptick are BOOOOOMB ⚡️

” The name of the collection is inspired by Martin L. Gore of Depeche Mode & High Fashion. The lipsticks are Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Paraben-Free and Lanolin-Free “

I ordered three shades (Essex, Gore Couture and Batwalk) to see how the formula and colors are going, and this is soooo great. I mean, the colors are amazing, they’re dark nude witchy shades, wich makes me obsessed with this brand.

The packaging is really great quality and well designed. And hell YAAASSS, there is a pointy applicator (I wanna cry). By the way, as a graphic designer (Oh shut up bitch), I have to say that the logo looks really nice too. This packaging reminds me a lot of the Limecrime, with these roses on the cap.

The formula is very liquidy and easy to apply. They doesn’t dry to fast, wich is good because you have time to properly apply it, but when it’s dry, it’s fuckin’ dry, matte and kissproof. One of my favorite kind of formula. They doesn’t seem to dry lips too much, so good point ! Annnnnnnd, they smell like vanilla cupcake or something that will make me swell until I explode from my 40 size (cryyyyy).

So in love with these three. Unfortunately, 4 shades are sold out for the moment, and Creep show will be sold out too very soon. So excited for them to be restocked and order the two other shades. Recommend it !

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and see you very soon in another one
